We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support a major pharmaceutical capital project through design, commissioning, qualification, startup, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate will serve as the automation SME, supporting FAT/SAT execution, manufacturing control systems, and GMP compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities for manufacturing equipment and utility systems.
- Review URS, FDS, SDS, automation architecture, and control system documentation.
- Support PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, MES, and Historian system integration and troubleshooting.
- Execute IQ/OQ automation verification and support CSV activities in compliance with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation, Quality, Facilities, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
- Support change controls, deviations, CAPAs, SOP development, and operational handover to manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of automation experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience with FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification, and manufacturing startup.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, industrial automation, and GMP requirements.
- Experience with DeltaV, Rockwell, Siemens, PCS7, OSI PI, MES, or similar platforms preferred.
