As part of our continuous expansion, we are looking for a talented Optics Designer to join our growing engineering team.
AboutThe Role
As an Optics Designer at Shape Optics, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of high-performance optical and imaging systems. You will be responsible for evaluating commercial components, creating custom optical designs, and ensuring the delivery of lightweight, cost-effective, and high-bandwidth imaging solutions.
This is a highly hands-on role where you will work across the full optical design lifecycle—concept, modelling, assembly, integration, characterization, and validation. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, electronics engineers, system engineers, and external consultants.
If you enjoy tackling novel optical challenges, working in fast-paced environments, and solving problems that push boundaries, this role offers exceptional growth and impact.
