Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Solstice, you support business leaders by helping them understand their numbers and make better decisions. Your role is to turn financial data into clear insights that explain what is happening, why it is happening, and what actions should be taken.
You will work closely with functional teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Your analysis will help the company control costs, plan headcount, improve profitability, and meet its financial goals.
In this role, you are not just reporting numbers—you are helping teams plan, manage trade‑offs, and stay on track.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Analyze operating expenses and financial results; conduct detailed variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Identify key drivers of variances, assess root causes, and develop actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Contribute to the forecasting process by identifying opportunities for optimization, prioritization, and cost efficiency.
- Assist in the execution of annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis, modelling, and research to support preliminary, adjusted, and final forecast cycles.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand operational drivers, solicit insights, and support informed decision-making.
- Drive the rhythm of the business for the assigned area of responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and recurring business reviews.
- Provide financial support to business leaders during financial close periods, budgeting cycles, and forecast updates.
- Must be able to use Power BI and bring out financial analytics and insights.
- Identify financial and operational trends, assess risks and opportunities, and formulate data‑driven action plans.
- Support preparation and delivery of monthly close reviews and recurring performance management materials.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A/ business finance/Commercial Finance roles.
- Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP / Hyperion / Essbase
- Expertise in Power BI / Snowflake– Intermediate to Advanced
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are highly valued.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of cross‑functional and regional teams with a particular focus on the ability to set priorities that correspond with business needs.
- Strategic thinking and a proven ability to drive financial initiatives. One who is self‑motivated and result oriented.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with counterparts, higher management & colleagues.
