AboutThe Role
This role serves as the strategic right hand to the founder, managing day-to-day investment operations, financial reporting, and cross-border tracking. The successful candidate will consolidate complex financial information, oversee global portfolios, and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a high-level, strategic leadership role while directly influencing multimillion-dollar investments.
Key Responsibilities- Consolidate and manage all global investment positions and cash flow across multiple jurisdictions.
- Build and maintain complex Excel models to track financial performance, IRR calculations, and investment returns.
- Act as primary liaison with accountants, lawyers, and other financial advisors, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee loan notes, banking, and cross-border transactions, anticipating required actions and preparing necessary documentation.
- Support tax planning and compliance across U.S. and U.K. jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with the founder and executive assistant to streamline operations and implement efficient processes.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support investment and business decisions.
- 3-5+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, real estate, or related fields.
- Advanced Excel skills, including building complex models and performing IRR or ROI calculations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex financial data quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact with high-level clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cross-border investments and basic understanding of tax and legal compliance.
- Experience in real estate investments, fund management, or strategic financial operations.
- Some exposure to contract law or legal documentation.
- International experience or ability to navigate multiple time zones and jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and anticipate needs in a dynamic environment.
