Whatthe job involves
The DACH region represents a key strategic growth market for the group and is central to its long-term acquisition strategy. To support its continued expansion, the firm is seeking an exceptional investment professional to join its Zurich-based team and lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities across the region.
- Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, business owners, M&A advisors, banks and industry participants across the DACH region
- Assess acquisition opportunities from strategic, commercial, and financial perspectives
- Develop and articulate investment views and recommendations, present your conclusion to the Investment Committee
- Lead acquisition processes, from Advisors coordination to due diligence work streams, and structuring transaction terms
- Demonstrated experience in M&A advisory/transaction services, and/or in a private equity fund, preferably with founder-owned/entrepreneurial businesses
- Robust financial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution capabilities, underpinned by a strong deal track record and a demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Highly collaborative personality who enjoys working in a small, entrepreneurial team environment
- Native-level German speaker, understanding of Swiss German is a must, fluency in English
