Our client is a successful pan-European small-cap investment firm that acquires and operates stable, profitable SMEs across three main sectors: B2B services, industrial technology, and consumer(€/Chf 10-50M EV range). Built on an evergreen investment model, the firm operates as a true serial acquirer, free from the constraints of traditional private equity fund structures. Its long-term buy-and-hold approach supports both organic and acquisitive growth, while providing portfolio company management teams with significant autonomy to execute sustainable value creation strategies.

The DACH region represents a key strategic growth market for the group and is central to its long-term acquisition strategy. To support its continued expansion, the firm is seeking an exceptional investment professional to join its Zurich-based team and lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities across the region.

• Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, business owners, M&A advisors, banks and industry participants across the DACH region
• Assess acquisition opportunities from strategic, commercial, and financial perspectives
• Develop and articulate investment views and recommendations, present your conclusion to the Investment Committee
• Lead acquisition processes, from Advisors coordination to due diligence work streams, and structuring transaction terms

• Demonstrated experience in M&A advisory/transaction services, and/or in a private equity fund, preferably with founder-owned/entrepreneurial businesses
• Robust financial modelling, valuation, and transaction execution capabilities, underpinned by a strong deal track record and a demonstrated ability to work autonomously
• Highly collaborative personality who enjoys working in a small, entrepreneurial team environment
• Native-level German speaker, understanding of Swiss German is a must, fluency in English
