Our client is a growing manufacturer and distributor who is seeking an analyst that treats AI and automation as standard equipment in their functional process.

Compensation

$120,000 to $130,000 base plus short term incentive. Hybrid schedule in Indiana.

Overview

• Own the full reporting cycle from start to finish
• Deliver daily and weekly operational numbers to leadership
• Produce the monthly close package and explain the variances behind it
• Prepare quarterly reporting for the board
• Support each forecast and planning cycle
• Rebuild how reporting gets produced: automated data flows, clean models, consistent metric definitions
• Own reconciliation and validation on everything that goes out
• Work directly with the BI team on the underlying data architecture
• Partner with the business on pricing, customer and product profitability, and operational performance
• Deliver recommendations, not just reports
• Handle ad hoc analysis in a fast moving, acquisitive business

Desired Skills & Experience

• 5 to 7 years in FP&A, financial analysis, or commercial finance
• Personal ownership of a reporting or forecast cycle
• Demonstrated AI proficiency with specific examples of what you built and what changed
• Automation you have shipped and that runs without you
• Working knowledge of data structure: table relationships, keys, and troubleshooting
• Ability to explain financial results clearly to non-finance partners

• Modern BI tooling
• Manufacturing or distribution background
• Multi entity experience
• No certifications or advanced degrees required
