Finance Director for City of Huntington, WV. Requires individual with demonstrated leadership and management ability; comprehensive knowledge of municipal finance and budgeting and internal control procedures.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible public or private sector finance work preferable.
Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
Valid driver’s license.
Salary range $94,882-$105,463;
Excellent fringe benefits.
The City has approximately 380 full and part-time employees with an annual operating budget of $87 million. It is located along the banks of the Ohio River, spanning approximately 18 square miles and has a population of approximately 45,000 with culturally and economically diverse residents. Home to Marshall University, Huntington is a thriving metropolitan area within easy driving distance to many other small towns and rural communities.
