Perinatal Instructor - Casual

Job Summary

* The Perinatal Education/Family Programs Instructor is responsible for:

* Safety of all customers.

* Participating in all IRMC mandatory opportunities.

* Assuring evidence based educational programs.

* Participating in performance improvement projects.

* Completing Assigned Dept. Projects/Tasks.

* Assisting with Dept. Budget.

* Attending Department meetings.

* Participating in scheduled/assigned community events.

* Work cooperatively with all members of the Perinatal Educational Team.

* Assist with staff in-services.

Job Specification

* Minimum

Education Required:

Graduate of a Nursing Program, Licensed Healthcare Program or Bachelor Degree in Health Related Field

* Minimum Experience

Required:

two years or more of teaching childbirth or maternal child education preferred or two years of practical experience in maternal/child or women's health nursing.

Licensure/Certification Required

* Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire).
