Physical Therapy Aide - Part Time

• Assist physical therapists and physical therapist assistants with setting up equipment and preparing treatment areas.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions within the hospital.
• Clean and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas after use.
• Maintain inventory and stock supplies as needed.
• Support patients during exercises or ambulation under the direct supervision of licensed staff.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times.
• Provide general administrative or clerical support (e.g., restocking linens, filing, answering phones).
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma required
    ;
    Certified nursing assistant preferred
• EXPERIENCE:
  
  Previous experience in a healthcare setting or as a rehab aide preferred
• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
