We are looking for a fully licensed therapist who has speciality training or niche in working with one (or more) of the following:
- ADHD & Behavior Issues
- Play Therapy & Attachment Therapy (see separate listing)
- OCD (using ERP)
- Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy
- Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LMHC) in the State of Indiana;
Provisionally licensed will be considerate depending on experience. - Available 30 hours/wk including afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours
- Feel evidenced based and excellent client care is paramount
- Like to have fun
- Want to work in a collegial and family like environment
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all you do
- Want someplace you can be invested in the success of the practice as well as yourself
- Experience in a clinical setting with children.
- Minimum 1 year experience in working with children in a clinical setting
- Committed to continually growing as a clinician
- Don’t like children or their caregivers
- Want to just “clock in and out” and do your own thing
- Like to do things the easiest/shortest way possible
- Do not seek out supervision and support when needed

The outpatient therapist will provide excellent and effective mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations and/or mental health concerns. Therapist will need to be well organized, timely and able to juggle the multiple demands of an outpatient practice without daily supervision. This is a W2 position and a two year commitment is requested.
Education & Experience Requirements :- A Master’s degree or above in a mental health-related field such as social work, marriage and family, mental health counseling, etc
- Active unrestricted Indiana licensed clinician in good standing. A copy of the license must be provided.
- Experience in a clinical setting such as community mental health, residential, outpatient therapy, or school based therapy.
- Minimum 1 year experience in working with children in a clinical setting.

- Skilled in applying best practice theory and technique in counseling sessions
- Excellent at building rapport with clients
- Ability to receive and implement feedback immediately
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to proficiently navigate electronic systems such as computers, tablets, email, word processing, and electronic medical record systems
- Collaborative in nature
- Commitment to evidenced based and excellent client care

- Provide on-site excellent, effective, compassionate, and ethical psychotherapy services to the clients of Indy Child Therapist, LLC as scheduled in accordance with company policy.
- Utilize evidenced based treatments as primary clinical tool
- Arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before your first scheduled appointment and start/end sessions in a timely manner.
- Complete all written documentation for client records within 2 calendar days after date of service (recommended to be completed daily).
- This includes but is not limited to intakes, session notes, treatment plans, coding, and billing
- Engage with other team members, clients, parents, vendors, and outside referrals in a way that helps foster positive relationships.
- Respond to clients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, text, or by email.
