Lifesteps is hiring a Full‑time Community Homes Supervisor in the Indiana, PA area.

Lifesteps is a non‑profit human services organization that has been serving Western Pennsylvania for over 100 years. We help individuals and families with life‑changing needs by providing programs and services that enable people with special needs to live to their fullest potential.

The Supervisor provides a high level of quality care to individuals while ensuring each individual is treated with respect and dignity. The role improves quality of life by assisting residents in learning to live and function independently in their home and community. The Supervisor oversees day‑to‑day activities of the Community Home and directly supervises all house staff, acting as a Residential Companion and part of the direct care team.

This full‑time position works a schedule of 7 am to 3 pm.

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years’ experience in a human service or related field
• Current driver’s license
• Obtain a Medication Administration Certification within 6 months of hire
• First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months of hire

Preferred:

• Associate Degree or equivalent credits (60) and 2 years of experience in a human service, Special Education, or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year experience in a human service or related field
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of 6400, 6500, and/or 2380 regulations (or equivalent regulations)
