This role is ideal for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and Vascular Technologists who want hands-on ultrasound experience in a hospital outpatient setting.
- Pay Rate: $90/hr for travel candidates (over 50 miles); $80/hr for local candidates (within 50 miles)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,030 - $2,190
- Location: Indiana, PA 15701 — Indiana County, Pennsylvania (PA travel ultrasound job)

- Minimum 3 years of ultrasound scanning experience (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
- At least 1 year of recent travel assignment experience preferred
- Current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) and RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certifications required
- Proficiency in Breast, Vascular, General (abdominal), and OBGYN sonography
- Strong communication, patient care, and organizational skills
- Experience with outpatient imaging workflows and hospital radiology protocols
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for outpatient studies, including breast, vascular, abdominal, and OBGYN scans
- Work closely with radiologists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate, timely diagnostic imaging reports
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during imaging procedures
- Record and document findings accurately in the hospital’s imaging and patient record systems
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and sonography best practices
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support continuous quality improvement in the radiology department
