Job SummaryThe Human Resources Manager champions a people-first approach, ensuring that employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. This role leads the administration and strategic direction of Human Resources, including payroll, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, while partnering closely with leadership to create meaningful, people-centered practices and strategic growth. The HR Manager is instrumental in shaping a positive culture, driving engagement, and supporting organizational growth, bringing energy, initiative, and a can‑do attitude to every challenge.
RoleResponsibilities
This role is the heartbeat of our people operations, driving a seamless and engaging employee experience from hire to retire. The position owns the full spectrum of HR and payroll—leading recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance management, and multi‑state payroll compliance—while serving as a trusted partner to employees and leadership.
- Manage all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll administration, performance management, and compliance
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, tax regulations, and recordkeeping requirements, including those applicable to remote employees in multiple states
- Partner with payroll vendors and internal teams to resolve payroll issues and maintain system accuracy
- Ensure proper timekeeping, wage calculations, deductions, and reporting
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR and payroll matters
- Maintain and promote a respectful, family-oriented work environment
- Support organizational growth by building and improving HR, payroll, and people-focused processes
- Lead performance management and professional development initiatives
- Coach managers on people leadership and effective employee management
- Manage HRIS and payroll systems while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and data integrity
- Address employee concerns with professionalism, confidentiality, and consistency
- Support management and organizational development efforts
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Required minimum of 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including payroll responsibility
- Hands‑on experience with payroll administration and timekeeping systems
- Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices
- Experience supporting a growing organization and contributing to continuous improvement
- Genuine passion for building a positive, supportive, and family-oriented workplace culture where people feel valued and heard.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills, with a collaborative and optimistic approach
- Proficient in HRIS, payroll, benefits, and reporting systems
