Business Analyst, Sobrado

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong product and technical understanding, capable of bridging business, UX, and engineering in a regulated B2B environment. The role requires structured thinking, excellent communication, and experience working in distributed agile teams.

A provider of an online transaction platform for brokers and insurance companies in Switzerland,
Sobrado bridges the gap between brokers and insurers by automating processes between its users. Brokers benefit from standardized procurement where multiple insurers simultaneously receive and send offers which are consolidated in a comparable form. Further, information and statistical values are gathered to enable insurer product managers with a better refinement of their products and brokers to better consult their clients.

Founded in 2011 with the goal of connecting brokers and insurers and providing digitalization for both sides. Today,
Sobrado is the leading transaction platform in its segment and is used by the industry as an important communication channel. Sobrado is now advancing to its next stage: launching platform version 2.0 with a modern tech stack, new external customer integrations, and expanded feature offerings.

• Analyze customer needs, business processes, and domain-specific constraints
• Capture, structure, and document software requirements and user stories
• Maintain close communication with business and technical stakeholders
• Support agile teams with backlog refinement and work item updates
• Collaborate closely with product owners, development, and design

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis within software or digital product environments
• Solid understanding of modern web application principles and architectures
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable software requirements
• Strong understanding of user stories, epics, and agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
• Experience creating low- to mid-fidelity UI mock-ups or wireframes
• Good understanding of both front-end / UI and back-end / API aspects
• Experience using AI tools to support business analysis tasks
• Knowledge of domain and use case modelling (UML, basic sequence/use case diagrams)
• Experience or strong interest in System Analysis is a significant plus.
• Fluency in Russian is required, along with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills in English (Upper Intermediate).
