Technical Consultant-SAP WM/EWM Life on the team
Computacenter GIS business unit is seeking a confident and experienced SAP Professionals, to bring maturity to their existing operational risk approach. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in SAP Warehouse Management / Extended Warehouse Management and can create a plan to deliver improvements then execute against the plan.
Good communication skills and relationship building will enable the candidate to excel at the role, build a culture of strong team and advance their career within Computacenter.
What you'll do- Lead and manage SAP WM projects from initiation to post-implementation support, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, to gather business requirements and design SAP MM/WM solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing supply chain processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Configure and customize SAP MM/WM modules to meet business requirements, including material master data management, purchasing, inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory.
- Define and implement warehouse structures, including storage types, storage sections, storage bins, and storage unit management, to optimize warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
- Perform data migration activities, including data extraction, cleansing, and transformation, to ensure smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP WM.
- Technical education or studies in IT or a comparable qualification/professional experience.
- Total work experience should be 12-16 years
- Deep knowledge about the WM & EWM process and configuration
- Extended knowledge about the common standard processes like Order-to-cash or Procure-to-Pay.
- Strong customer focus and communication skills
- Ability to share knowledge and train people
