CT - AI Researcher The opportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated Applied AI Researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will evaluate and experiment with emerging AI technologies, developing Proofs of Concept (POCs) utilizing cutting‑edge AI and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies, including agentic AI.
Your key responsibilities- Stay up to date on the state‑of‑the‑art in large language models and agentic approaches.
- Evaluate and experiment with emerging AI technologies to identify potential applications and innovations.
- Develop and implement Proofs of Concept (POCs) using Generative AI and agentic AI technologies with advanced AI frameworks, including Auto Gen and Lang Graph.
- Research advanced retrieval augmented generation methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to propose improved AI methods and solutions for implementing into existing products and platforms.
- Write internal white papers as well as research papers for submission into premier AI conferences and workshops.
- Master’s degree /Ph.D. in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, etc.).
- 3+ years of experience in AI and machine learning.
- Deep technical expertise in Generative AI and agent frameworks such as Auto Gen and Lang Graph with an ability to quickly develop AI prototypes.
- Experience building multi‑agent systems using Lang Chain/Lang Graph and familiarity with observability tools like Lang Smith.
- Solid understanding of basic and advanced Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
- Strong programming skills in Python as well as knowledge of frameworks like Tensor Flow, PyTorch is required.
- Preferred experience with fine‑tuning Small Language Models (SLMs).
- Drive to solve customers’ problems using technical creativity and hard work.
- Ability to communicate technical matters clearly and effectively to both technical and non‑technical audience.
- Critical thinker with excellent judgment and strong initiative.
- B.S. in Actuarial, Behavior Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Econometrics, Engineering, IT, Cyber Security, or related field preferred.
