Service Now Presales Technical Architect Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Now Presales Technical Architect to drive solutioning, technical strategy, and customer engagement across Service Now opportunities. This role will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, enabling high-quality proposals, demos, and client confidence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end presales solutioning for Service Now opportunities across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and Sec Ops
- Engage with clients to understand business challenges, define requirements, and propose scalable Service Now solutions
- Architect innovative, value-driven solutions aligned with industry best practices and Service Now capabilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to shape deals, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and build compelling proposals
- Design and deliver technical presentations, demos, and PoCs showcasing platform capabilities
- Provide effort estimation, solution sizing, and implementation roadmap
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
- Stay updated with Service Now product roadmap and emerging features
- Strong expertise in Service Now platform architecture and design
- Hands-on experience across key modules:
- ITSM (IT Service Management)
- ITOM (IT Operations Management)
- HRSD (HR Service Delivery)
- CSM (Customer Service Management)
- Sec Ops (Security Operations)
- Knowledge of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Server)
- Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Understanding of cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS) and enterprise IT landscapes
- Strong experience in solution consulting and stakeholder management
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture
- Expertise in proposal creation, value articulation, and ROI positioning
- Strong communication and storytelling skills for executive-level presentations
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Preferred
- Service Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – Highly desirable
- 8–15 years of IT experience with 5+ years in Service Now
- Proven track record in presales, solutioning, or consulting roles
- Experience working with global clients and complex enterprise environments
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability
- Customer-focused mindset with business outcome orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
- Strong collaboration across sales, delivery, and product teams
- Drive higher win rates through compelling technical solutions
- Enable faster deal closure with strong presales engagement
- Position Service Now as a strategic transformation platform
- Support revenue growth and pipeline expansion
