Under general supervision supports IT technology solutions within end-user and hardware systems. Performs analysis and translation of business, information, and technical requirements to achieve IT solutions that meet business needs. Assists the development of design specifications and deliverables that support system enhancements.
Responsibilities- Assist with ULS’s patching and vulnerability management processes for Windows workstations and servers
- Performing software review, as necessary, to determine software solutions based on user request
- Perform software distribution and packaging duties as necessary
- Document configuration and installation processes and details
- Perform system hardware/software troubleshooting as necessary
- Interface with users, other support staff, and service desk for escalated troubleshooting assistance
- Actively participate in strategy and planning sessions related to PC and end client activities
- Contribute to projects/activities that improve the end user experience
- M&A Integration and Device Strategy participation
- Performs other duties as directed
- University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus generally three years of directly related experience and working technical IT experience in area(s) of specialty
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer hardware and Windows 11, including service branches and configuration
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) is required
- Proficiency in vulnerability management, including identification and remediation, is required
- Hands‑on experience with Patch My PC is preferred
- Strong scripting and automation skills, with a focus on SCCM/MECM packaging
- Experience using Windows Package Manager (Win Get) is required
- Exposure to Lenovo hardware and Think Vantage technologies is preferred
- Knowledge of Dell hardware and related PC software tools is an advantage
- Strong skills in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting are essential
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune is considered an advantage
- Knowledge of Apple/Mac device support is preferred
- Familiarity with Jamf Pro is an advantage
- Experience with alternative operating systems such as iOS and Android is a plus
- Ability to clearly document configuration and installation procedures is required
- Practical experience configuring and supporting Windows security tools is required
Working knowledge of Service Now, including the Vulnerability Response module, is an asset - Experience with Tenable is a plus
