We are hiring a Consultant (Techno‑Legal) under the Digital Office – DPDP Project. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and supporting the implementation of a digital office framework aligned with data protection and privacy requirements.

Contractual Basis
- Conduct analysis of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 to identify obligations for digital office implementation.
- Collaborate with IT teams, legal advisors, and management to develop implementation strategies.
- Assess existing infrastructure, systems, and processes for compliance with data protection requirements.
- Develop and implement data protection policies, procedures, and controls.
- Assist in the selection and implementation of cloud computing solutions, cybersecurity measures, and data encryption protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies related to data privacy compliance.
- Review and negotiate agreements with vendors and third‑party service providers in coordination with legal counsel.
- Prepare training programmes and awareness material for employees.
- Monitor developments in data protection laws and recommend necessary compliance measures.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities on matters relating to data protection and privacy compliance.
- Understanding of the DPDP Act, 2023.
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with digital technologies, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.
- Ability to conduct legal and regulatory analysis.
