Job Description As a Security Managed Services Engineer (L2) at NTT DATA, your role is to ensure the operational continuity of our clients' security infrastructures and systems. You will proactively monitor, identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems to efficiently restore service. Your main responsibility will be handling client requests or tickets with technical expertise, ensuring they are resolved within the agreed service level agreement (SLA).Your
duties will include promptly logging incidents, providing second-level support, and communicating effectively with other teams and clients for necessary support. Additionally, you will be responsible for executing changes, identifying risks, developing mitigation plans, and ensuring proper approvals for all changes.
Collaborating closely with automation teams, you will optimize efforts, automate routine tasks, and facilitate seamless handovers during shift changes. Your analytical skills will be crucial in auditing incident and request tickets, recommending improvements, and contributing to trend analysis reports to identify automation opportunities.
Furthermore, you will act as the initial point of contact for client escalations, assisting L1 Security Engineers with triage and troubleshooting, and offering support for project work as needed. Your involvement in the change management process will guarantee thorough documentation, effective planning and execution of maintenance activities, and compliance with standard procedures.
• Qualifications
Required:
- Experience with managed services handling security infrastructure
- Working knowledge of ticketing tools, preferably Service Now
- Excellent planning skills with the ability to anticipate and adjust to changing circumstances
- Client-focused mindset, prioritizing their needs and ensuring a positive experience
