Principal IT Analyst – Engineering Transformation, M&A&D&S Governance

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Engineering IT transformation and governance initiatives supporting Honeywell Aerospace Engineering and Digital IT organizations.
  • Drive M&A, Divestiture, and Spin-off (M&A&D&S) due diligence, integration planning, TSA governance, and execution activities across Engineering application portfolios.
  • Manage strategic planning activities including STRAP, AOP, financial forecasting, budget tracking, and operational governance for Engineering IT programs and services.
  • Lead complex multi-stream Engineering IT programs across Product Engineering and Project Engineering domains, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise transformation objectives.
  • Oversee governance, execution tracking, and operational visibility for Engineering platforms and applications including PLM, Dev Sec Ops , PPM, Model Based Engineering, collaboration, and engineering productivity tools.
  • Drive program governance cadence including KPI reporting, RAID management, milestone tracking, stakeholder communication, and executive leadership updates.
  • Partner with Engineering, IT, Finance, Procurement, Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Delivery teams to support scalable and sustainable technology transformation initiatives.
  • Lead Engineering IT operational governance including sprint visibility, defect tracking, enhancement prioritization, deployment governance, and execution transparency.
  • Support Engineering application rationalization, software asset governance, license optimization, vendor coordination, and cost management initiatives.
  • Conduct current-state assessments, workload/resource gap analysis, and operating model recommendations to improve delivery effectiveness and governance maturity.
  • Establish stakeholder engagement models and governance structures to improve collaboration, adoption alignment, and business confidence across transformation initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational stability, deployment readiness, governance standardization, and scalable execution models.
  • Support leadership decision-making through structured reporting, financial insights, operational dashboards, and portfolio-level visibility.

Lead coordination with external vendors, system integrators, and managed service partners to ensure delivery alignment with Honeywell standards and business.

Qualifications – You Must Have
  • Extensive experience in Engineering IT program management, transformation governance, and enterprise delivery execution.
  • Certifications in Agile, PMP, Scrum.
  • Strong experience managing M&A&D&S due diligence, integration planning, TSA execution, and cross-functional governance activities.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning cycles including STRAP, AOP, financial forecasting, and budget management.
  • Strong background in Engineering application ecosystems including PLM, Dev Sec Ops , PPM, collaboration, and engineering productivity platforms.
  • Proven experience driving governance, operational visibility, and execution management across large-scale Engineering IT programs.
  • Experience managing multi-stream programs involving Engineering, IT, Business, Architecture, Delivery, Finance, Procurement, and Vendor teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership communication, and executive reporting skills within complex matrix organizations.
  • Experience with operational governance including sprint tracking, defect management, enhancement prioritization, release governance, and KPI reporting.
  • Experience supporting software asset governance, license optimization, vendor management, and cost transparency initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution management capabilities with focus on governance maturity and operational stability.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive structured execution across fast-paced transformation environments.
