Job Summary

The Data Science role at Bread Financial delivers best-in-class actionable business insights through cutting‑edge predictive models and data science techniques. The Data Scientist is pivotal in generating data‑driven insights using advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to support enterprise data science needs.

• Establishing and executing the framework for engaging enterprise partners to plan new AI solutions – 30%
• Design, build, deploy, and periodic maintenance of AI solutions – 30%
• Assisting with documentation, compliance, model governance, and maintenance of AI solutions – 15%
• Research advanced modeling and AI techniques to improve predictive modeling and maintain business acumen in relevant industries – 15%
• Building strong relationships with internal business partners to drive the delivery of enterprise solutions – 10%

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or Economics.
• 2+ years experience in building sophisticated models using machine learning, segmentation, time series, and other advanced analytics methodologies.

• Master’s Degree or PhD in relevant fields.
• 3+ years professional experience in model building and analytics. Experience in Marketing, Bank card business, Credit card business, Consulting, Retail, or Financial Services is advantageous.
