The Graduate Programme at our global headquarters aims at developing the next generation of Glencore professionals. The programme offers successful graduates the opportunity to understand different functions of the business through internal rotations and to advance their careers in a performance‑driven culture.
Our graduates work directly with industry experts, are given real responsibility and as a result gain a variety of skills. Graduates receive training on topics such as trading, traffic, finance, business analytics, networking and public speaking through best‑in‑class training partners.
All graduates are assigned a mentor to guide them through their development mentoring programme supports new joiners in understanding company culture and building their network across the organisation.
Our IT FunctionOur Information Technology (IT) function provides efficient business applications, processes and tools. Services include IT operations, support, business analysis, procurement, development, test, system integration, engineering, training and continuous improvement through user groups. We are committed to a Global IT Strategy that enables us to leverage economies of scale and ensure security against cyber threats.
Ideal Candidate- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.

- Self‑driven with a positive attitude.
- Willing to embrace a diversity of tasks and responsibilities.
- Aims to improve processes and procedures to maximize efficiency.
- High attention to detail and process‑oriented.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Able to work and communicate with people from various backgrounds inside and outside the company.
- Holding a Swiss work permit or passport holder of CH / EU.
