Following rapid expansion of new client initiatives, the Fujitsu SaaS practice is seeking a skilled Service Now Test Consultant (Tester), with strong Service Now related design and development experience to join our dynamic solutions team.
Role And AccountabilitiesThis opportunity will suit a motivated Service Now Tester with a demonstrated record of offering Service Now related design and development support, successfully delivering on a wide range of Service Now related technical engagements.
- Create, execute, and manage test plans, cases, and scripts for Service Now ITAM modules.
- Work closely with the development and business teams to understand functional and technical requirements.
- Provide insights and expertise to enhance test case creation and execution.
- Perform system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and enhancements in a defect tracking system.
- Report and communicate testing progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders.
- Ensure thorough documentation of testing activities.
- Collaborate with developers and other testers to ensure thorough testing from a technical and user perspective.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the quality of the Sec Ops environment.
- Stay updated on the latest industry best practices and new technologies relevant to software testing and Service Now platform.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Service Now platform testing, particularly in ITAM modules.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and other scripting languages for automated testing.
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP web services.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist - Security Operations or other relevant Service Now certifications.
- ITIL Certification.
- Any other relevant certifications in software testing or security.
