Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Dev Ops Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in managing AWS cloud infrastructure and implementing Dev Ops practices. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AWS services combined with strong skills in CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management. This role is crucial for optimizing cloud environments and enhancing the deployment pipeline, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability AWS environments.
  • Utilize AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC to support application needs.
  • Implement and manage AWS security practices, including IAM, Security Groups, and encryption.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools such as Code Pipeline, Code Build, and Code Deploy.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
  • Manage and optimize containerized applications with ECS, EKS, or Fargate.
  • Monitor AWS resources using Cloud Watch and implement logging and alerting solutions.
  • Analyze performance and cost metrics to optimize resource usage and minimize costs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and deployments.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate Dev Ops practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure seamless deployment of applications by managing and automating the release process.
  • Collaborate with other teams to enhance cloud-based solutions and address operational challenges.
  • Document AWS infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and automation scripts.
  • Stay up-to-date with AWS best practices and industry trends to continuously improve cloud operations.
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops practices.
  • Extensive experience with core AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or CircleCI, with a focus on AWS integration.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as ECS, EKS, or Fargate.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Cloud Watch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Strong understanding of security practices in AWS, including network security and access management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex AWS environments.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications And Certifications
  • Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Knowledge of AWS networking services such as Route 53, ELB, and Direct Connect.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud deployments and integrating AWS with on-premises systems.
