Senior Professional Services Consultant

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly scope engagements through assessing the client’s operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations to optimize Proofpoint technologies.
• Provide strategic program design solutions that allow clients to identify, protect, monitor, and manage their most protected data and people.
• Work with the broader Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations.
• Work closely with the corresponding sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and customer satisfaction continues to rank high.
• Present updates to management identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions.

• 8+ years industry experience in a customer-facing role.
• 8+ years of experience in IT consulting or related fields.
• Familiarity with Data Security:
  Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Data Security Posture Management, and/or Identity Threat Detection concepts.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with the confidence to engage in-person and virtually.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through to completion.
• English proficiency in both technical and non‑technical communication is required.

  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Active Directory, Entra  (Azure AD), GPO management, and Power Shell scripting;
  Experience with identity security tools, deep knowledge of "identity‑centric indicators of compromise", and exposure to Microsoft or Symantec DLP solutions.
