What you'll do
  • Design and implement robust network architectures that meet the needs of our clients and internal teams.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems and applications.
  • Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard network infrastructure against potential threats and breaches.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients regarding network-related inquiries.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements and upgrades to our network systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address network incidents and ensure continuous service delivery.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Engage in vendor management to evaluate and procure network hardware and software solutions that align with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Nice to have
  • Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and implementations.
  • Previous experience in a managed services environment.
  • Understanding of VoIP and video conferencing technologies.
