As a Demand Management Associate, you will create and maintain analytically driven demand, supply, and inventory plans; then work with key functional partners to reach consensus on those plans and ensure cohesive execution of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Participates in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
- May be responsible for tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
- Participates in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP.
- Partner with Customer Service, Sales, and Supply Planning to ensure accurate customer demand is reflected.
- Review and compare forecast data to incoming customer orders.
- Ensure success of Customer Service Team by communicating any customer orders received outside of forecast / leadtime.
- Manage customer orders and inventory levels to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Customer order entry / change.
- Manage customer open order reports to reflect accurate demand.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in Planning
- Understanding of forecast and replenishment theory, solid written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills
- Solid knowledge and practical use of Forecasting and Inventory Planning tools
- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills, be detail oriented, and flexible to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SAP preferred.
