Who You’ll Work With
In this role, you will work closely with a global, cross‑functional network across Asia, North America, and Europe, specifically partnering with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), and Direct Fulfillment (DF) teams. You will also collaborate internally with Global Supplier Management (GSM), New Product Introduction (NPI) supply chain teams, component suppliers, and key Arista stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
WhatYou’ll Do
Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring continuity of supply, cost management, leading process improvements, material planning, and execution. He/she will work closely with Contract Manufacturing (CM), Direct Fulfillment (DF), component suppliers, Global Supplier Management (GSM), and new product introduction (NPI) Supply Chain teams. The ideal candidate will excel in leadership, communication, and collaborative cross‑functional partnership with CM/ODM.
- Purchase order management and execution, shipment tracking, delivery expedite.
- Develop and implement metrics with CM/DF to ensure accountability and identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Communicate with critical stakeholders, coordinate, and align with CM/DF to support build plan.
- Partner with the CM/DF, component suppliers, and GSM managers on all identified material issues and resolve them by identifying the root cause and managing the corrective or recovery actions.
- Allocate components that are in short supply in a manner that maximizes revenue, minimizes impacts to key performance indicators, and minimizes escalations from customers.
- Ensure cost is competitive while meeting other priority goals such as quality and delivery.
- Oversee Excess and Obsolete (E&O) activity from CM/DF, recommend critical courses of action to management, and own efforts to mitigate liability to Arista.
- Support business critical events such as cycle count, physical inventory & quarter ends. This may occasionally require work during weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain, business, economics, finance or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive supply chain operations experience, preferably with material management experience in a high‑tech operations environment. Ideally candidates hold min 5 years of OEM experience.
- Track record of delivering excellence in projects.
- Program management, communication, negotiating and influencing experience with a track record of achieving solid business results.
- Ability to work in a dynamic & ambiguous fast‑paced environment.
- Top notch data management skill. Excellent in compiling and analyzing large data in Excel.
- Self‑motivated, experienced working as part of a global, cross‑functional team who are located in Asia, North America & Europe time zones. Must be able to occasionally work outside of standard Malaysia business hours.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Travel ~10% a year.
