Description
Under general supervision of the Plant Manager, is responsible for the overall control and movement of materials in and out of the plant. Directs and administers purchasing, production scheduling, inventory control, warehousing sales order entry, customer service, traffic and shipping.
Essential Job FunctionsPrefer bachelor's degree in business or operations and at least 8 years' experience, preferably with an automotive supplier.
Special SkillsAbility to understand and execute contracts relating to materials purchases and deliveries.
Physical RequirementsPhysical requirements include regularly spending time on the manufacturing plant floor, with prolonged standing, walking and exposure to typical production environments (noise, PPE use and occasional lifting).
