** We are seeking a motivated and experienced
** Team Leader Project Department
** to strengthen our Project Management Team. In this role, you will plan, supervise and manage project managers across a range of projects, in accordance with Alfa Laval´s project methodology to reach desired outcomes.
Our Alfa Laval site in Allschwil, Switzerland is one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of cryogenic pumps for the liquefied gas industry.
** What you will do
*** Lead, develop, and coach your team of Project Managers, fostering skill development and professional growth.
* Ensure that all projects are executed in line with contractual obligations, quality standards, safety requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
* Manage customer claims and disputes in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
* Coordinate interfaces and collaboration between internal departments involved in project execution.
* Actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving, transforming, and increasing company productivity.
* Be accountable for decision-making, project budgeting, and resource management within the defined project scope.
* Monitor progress and performance against project plans, ensuring costs, timelines, and deliverables remain on track.
* Take appropriate corrective actions when deviations (cost, schedule, technical) arise, in collaboration with your line manager.
** What You Bring
*** A degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or Project Management.
* At least 3 years of managerial experience, ideally within an industrial environment.
* Demonstrated experience in claim management, handling contractual disputes, negotiating solutions, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
* Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
* Strong knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma tools (LEAN certification is a plus).
* Recognized for your dynamic leadership, organizational skills, and ability to make sound decisions.
* Known as an autonomous and analytical professional, capable of driving performance and continuous improvement.
