Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support manufacturing operations for a large medical device company. This role focuses on advanced CNC programming and hands‑on machine support, with a strong emphasis on DMG Mori multi‑axis equipment and Siemens Unigraphics (NX / NX CAM). The ideal candidate is highly technical, comfortable working directly at the machine, and experienced in regulated medical device environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Unigraphics (NX and NX CAM)
- Program and support DMG Mori machines
, including: - NTX
1000 - NTX
2000 - NTX
3200 - NL / ZL / NLX
2500 - Work with single‑ and dual‑path controllers
- Stand at CNC machines for extended periods to debug, prove out, and refine programs
- Perform macro programming to support part families and improve manufacturing efficiency
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to support production needs
- Ensure compliance with medical device manufacturing standards and procedures
- Strong CNC programming experience using NX / NX CAM (5+ years of experience)
- Hands‑on experience with DMG Mori multi‑axis machines listed above
- Prior experience in medical device manufacturing
- Ability and willingness to work directly at machines for troubleshooting and program validation
- Experience with macro programming for part families
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and controllers
- No degree required — demonstrated, hands‑on CNC programming experience is the priority
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced production setting
