As per statutory requirement, any tube leaks in high pressure boilers shall be attended by an I  welder only. Hence, an I  welder available in house will be useful for Statutory and all other welding jobs also. This reduces hiring different I  welders at odd hours from external agencies as and when required.

• Carry out all I  related welding works in the plant like boilers tube leakages etc.
• Carry out all other welding works including Arc and TIG welding’s.
• Carry out general maintenance works as and when required when there are no welding works.

• Should have ITI welder certificate.
• Should have qualified I  Boiler Welder’s Certificate with validity in AP state.
• Should have experience in Boilers manufacturing or repairing divisions for about 4 ~ 5 years.
• Should demonstrate welding skill to the satisfaction of HOD concerned before selection for the job.
• Should have experience in general maintenance of plant works preferable in Power plants.
• Should have thorough knowledge in welding works and related jobs like stress relieving and Radiography etc.
