** What You’ll Do
** As a Tapping Setup/Operator you'll be part of our team located in Montpelier, IN.  You’ll get to:
* Set up Tapping machines
* Trouble shoot machinery and quality issues
* Execute tapping department processes and procedures
* Provide management with supporting documents and data as required
* Notify supervisor to purchase tooling, taps, and machine repair parts as required
* Schedule parts for tappers and operators according to production schedule
* Understand tapping sequence
* Load machines with parts as required
* Operate PIV
* Clean out oil and parts from inside machines
* Keep tooling clean and in working order
* Perform training for department as necessary
* Ability to work overtime as needed
* Able to work different shift to cover production needed
* Understand inventory system and tool re ordering

* High School Diploma or GED
* Effective written and oral communication skills
* Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form
* Apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Follows appropriate housekeeping procedures according to company guidelines
* Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor
* Basic mathematical understanding and ability (add, subtract, divide units of measurement)
* Practical application of proportion and geometric construction
* Organized
-ability to maintain orderly work stations and tool crib area
