Maintenance Technician (Process Controls Technician)

Shift Available: 3rd(10pm-630a)

Wages Starting over $38 per hour for qualified candidates.

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

  • Assists with maintaining PLC based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation
  • Program PLC ladder logic/PV/Transfer Presses/Robots/Welders/Drives (Variable Speed and Servo)
  • Work closely with the Control Engineer to define system control needs
  • Perform preventive/corrective maintenance as required in production lines
  • Clean and organize area, keep area free of clutter and safety hazards – 5S
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns of equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems in production lines
  • Complete electrical repairs as assigned in production lines
  • Maintain Spot and Mig welding equipment used in production lines
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits in production lines
  • Run conduit and pull wire to install or move equipment
  • Repair electrical components in production lines to include Presses
  • Remove and install motors in production lines to include Presses
  • Repair/rebuild components identified by the Maintenance Department
  • Process hourly/daily paperwork in MLS/EAM as required

This full-time hourly role is a part of our Maintenance Team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Required experience:

  • Completion of formal apprenticeship program or equivalent to 8 years’ experience
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi task and prioritize
  • Excellent communication skills as evidenced in associate relations, team skills, and have the ability to interface directly with associates to resolve issues
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
