$20.66/hour
Shifts Available andHours:
2nd Shift – 3:00 PM–1:00 AM
Training will be provided on 1st Shift.
Shift Premium:- $1.50/hour for 2nd shift
- $0.75/hour for 3rd shift
- $0.25/hour increase after 90 days
- Perform packing tasks and assist with all activities required within the Packing Department.
- Inspect and gauge products for defects using check gauges, tape measures, and other required tools.
- Operate packing equipment, including the bander and wood saw, as required.
- Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and proper lifting/body mechanics at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and report product defects to the Cell Leader or Team Leader.
Required Education/
Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Good communication skills in English; any other language is an asset.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to perform all required packing tasks.
- Ability to learn basic computer skills.
- Experience using packing equipment and tools is an asset.
- Ability to work safely while standing for extended periods.
- Ability to perform frequent pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance, as required.
