Forklift Operator, Material Handler
Crane Werks Inc. is a manufacturer of overhead material handling equipment including top running, under-hung free standing, semi-free standing & ceiling supported runway systems, bridge cranes, monorail systems & hoists. Our services include engineering, designing, fabrication, assembling & installation & testing. We also provide turnkey services. Our electric bridge cranes meet CMAA class C standards and our runway systems are designed to AISC specifications.
Crane Werks components meet CMAA, HMI, NEC, ANSI & OSHA requirements.
This is a full-time Forklift Operator role at Crane Werks Inc. located in Morristown, IN. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading steel, gathering skids, moving materials safely throughout the shop, and supporting daily shipping and receiving needs. The role is based at Crane Werks in Morristown, Indiana.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, shop, or material-handling environments is preferred.
- Ability to lift, move, and organize materials while following safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Load and unload steel, materials, and products safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the shop; overhead crane experience is preferred.
- Gather skids and prepare materials for shipping, receiving, or internal movement.
- Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Assist with organizing steel, supplies, and shop materials in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily shipping, receiving, and material-handling tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
