- Operate CNC structural steel beam line machinery for cutting, drilling, coping, and marking.
- Interpret structural steel fabrication drawings.
- Load and unload steel materials using overhead cranes.
- Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and quality checks.
- Monitor machine operation for accuracy, productivity, and safety.
- Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety practices and OSHA regulations.
- Experience operating structural steel beam line machines (Peddinghaus, PythonX, Ficep, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret structural steel shop drawings.
- Familiarity with fabrication tolerances and measurement tools.
- Ability to safely use overhead cranes, rigging, and forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in industrial shop conditions.
- Preferred:
- 2+ years in steel fabrication.
- CNC programming or machine troubleshooting experience.
- OSHA 10 or similar safety certification.
