Description

In this critical role, you will be responsible for working with the site Operations team in identifying areas for improvement across the site and developing solutions, implementing solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive organizational growth, and monitoring and sustaining those solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mindset for & experience in continuous improvement, participating in cross-functional teams, and a passion for delivering results. Must be able to work overtime and weekends when required. It is a condition of your employment to work holidays that are within your regular work schedule. Prior experience with 3PL, Retail Distribution, and Reserve Logistics/E-commerce experience is a plus.

Duties

and Responsibilities
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction.
  • Planning, scheduling, and assisting with facilitation of continuous improvement activities/events, such as Kaizen Events, Process Mapping & Improvement Workshops, Root Cause Analysis & Problem-Solving Sessions, etc.
  • Assisting with project management / task completion for cross-functional improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall organizational performance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate associates on lean and continuous improvement concepts and techniques.
  • Collaborate with Operations to drive cultural change and adoption of continuous improvement practices.
  • Measure and report on the results of improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with teaching, leading, and coaching cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology.
  • Working to continuously improve processes for both operations and support across the site.
  • Evaluating and prioritizing potential improvements based on gains vs. impact/effort required.
  • Resolving problems by using root cause analysis and problem-solving tools.
  • Accurately analyzing options including impact and feasibility.
  • Specifying obstacles and ways to overcome them through continuous improvement.
  • Regularly monitoring the implementation of solutions to achieve objectives and expected benefits.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, process improvement, or training.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work habits focusing on safety, quality, and productivity
  • Previous experience in data analysis
  • Previous experience in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and implementing solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work in high paced and changing environments
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Associate’s degree with 3+ years of hands-on experience in training or continuous
  • French-Creole Language
  • Lean Six Sigma experience or Yellow Belt certification
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies
  • Experience using data analysis software and tools
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record of leading successful improvement initiatives and delivering results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying current on industry trends and best practice.
