Locum CRNA Northern Indiana

Job Overview

Locum CRNA – 1099 contract position located in North Indiana. Duration 3‑6 months, starting July with 7:30am‑3:30pm shifts and required on‑call coverage from 3:30pm‑7:30am (3 weeknights/month, plus potential additional). No on‑site supervision; MDs present on site.

• Case types:
  General, Endo, Ortho, Urology, high‑risk OB (TOLACs/VBACs), GYN, Cancer, Liver, some Vascular, ENT, Radiology, Cosmetics, Podiatry, Pulmonary, very light Cardiac (TEE, lungs, major vascular). ASC has endo, blocks and B&B with approximately 2,100 cases per year.
• Block types: standard bread‑and‑butter, interscalene, supraclavicular, axillary, adductor, popliteal, TAP.
• Credentialing timeframe: 60‑90 days. Temps acceptable with cleared background/malpractice history, active unrestricted license.
• EMR:
  Medaxion.
• Special considerations: ACLS must be AHA; need 350 case logs (epidurals, spinals, blocks) in past 12 months; MD reference required; must enroll in INPCF.

• Current certification as a CRNA by the NBCRNA.
• Valid, unrestricted Indiana RN license.
• Minimum 1‑3 years of CRNA experience preferred; proficiency in high‑acuity cases.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable.
• Must have 350 case logs in the past 12 months.
• Must have an MD reference.
• Must be enrolled in INPCF.
