Position Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality clinical care while serving as a central point of contact in the BLU member experience. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a preventive, wellness-focused environment and enjoys both clinical care and member interaction. The LPN supports physician visits, administers IV therapy, performs phlebotomy, and guides members through their longevity journey—ensuring each interaction is seamless, personalized, and aligned with BLU’s elevated service standards.
CoreResponsibilities Clinical Care & IV Therapy
- Administer IV therapy, injections, and treatments per physician orders and protocols
- Perform venipuncture and blood draws with precision and member comfort
- Monitor members during treatments and respond to clinical changes
- Prepare and maintain IV therapy rooms, supplies, and equipment
- Educate members on protocols, benefits, and expectations
- Ensure all care is delivered safely and in compliance with regulatory standards
- Support physicians during longevity visits and executive-style physicals
- Collect vitals, review medical histories, and facilitate intake
- Reinforce care plans and follow-up instructions
- Coordinate labs, diagnostics, and ongoing care
- Support testing operations including:
- VO₂ Max
- Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR)
- Advanced blood biomarkers
- Balance, grip strength, and mobility
- Lunar iDXA
- Ensure a comfortable, seamless, and high-touch member experience
- Maintain readiness and organization of clinical and testing environments
- Serve as a primary point of contact for members
- Deliver a warm, professional, and attentive experience
- Anticipate needs and proactively address them
- Guide members through services, scheduling, and next steps
- Coordinate appointments, reminders, and follow-ups
- Ensure seamless communication between members and care teams
- Accurately document treatments and interactions in EMR systems
- Maintain compliant and organized medical records
- Communicate effectively with physicians and care team members
- Utilize EMR and scheduling tools to support efficient operations
- Professional, warm, and attentive member interactions
- High attention to detail and clinical accuracy
- Proactive communication and ownership
- Calm, confident clinical presence
- Strict confidentiality and discretion
- Active LPN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (wellness/outpatient preferred)
- Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical judgment within scope
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in IV therapy, functional medicine, or integrative wellness
- Familiarity with longevity or preventive health models
- Concierge or executive healthcare experience
- Background in patient coordination or experience roles
- Interest in health coaching or lifestyle medicine
- Proficiency with EMR systems
