This role will drive Voice of Customer improvement projects identified by key customers related to Residential and Light Commercial HVAC equipment. Additionally, this role will lead root cause analysis teams to develop and implement solutions to identified projects as well as track and report on progress of multiple project teams and key quality metrics.
Additionally, this role will lead the Quality Clinic and Quality lab and technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Voice of Customer effort
- Meet with key customers to determine the top issues to be resolved
- Lead root cause analysis teams
- Lead kaizen/process improvement events
- Collaborate with Engineering and technical employees to develop test and validation processes for identified product improvements
- Track project teams to ensure they are meeting key metrics
- Report out of project status and trends
- Lead the Quality Clinic and Quality Lab technicians
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 + years of experience managing engineers making product improvements
- Master’s Degree
- Fixing quality issues with product
- Project Management skills
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities
- Strong data analysis and root cause analysis skills
- Detailed oriented with the ability to drive projects to completion on schedule
- Problem solving / 6 sigma skills
