We are seeking a high energy, data driven, results-oriented Quality Supervisor to continue to raise our high bar in quality leadership.
- Provide real-time production support for quality related issues
- Identify and drive projects that improve quality metrics: FPY (first pass yield), first year warranty spend, and customer escape PPM
- Lead relentless root cause analysis investigations and implement mistake-proofing corrective actions; coordinate and lead containment measures as applicable
- Work with development engineering to improve manufacturability of products
- Ensure KPCs (key product characteristics) and Pro Cert (process certification) are properly defined and executed
- Assist manufacturing, quality, supply chain and engineering on new product development teams
- Support the Quality Review Board Passport process
- Provide leadership, coaching and oversight for quality control staff
- BA/BS degree w/2+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience leading quality / technical teams
- Past work experience as a quality or design engineer in a related manufacturing or electronics environment.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools and processes
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent project management skills and comfortable communicating at all levels of management and with external customers and suppliers
- Highly motivated, organized and flexible individual that is customer and results focused
