Precious Plate Quality Inspector The Opportunity

Precious Plate is hiring Quality Inspectors to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for visual inspections and disposition of finished goods in accordance with customer requirements and ISO regulations. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday, reporting to the Quality Manager. We are looking to hire 1st Shift (6am-2pm) and 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm).

• Final product release – perform final inspection of strip stock products from the plating line
• Obey all safety rules and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions
• Ability to identify and communicate quality problems to supervisor
• Math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Ability to work independently and perform cooperatively with others
• Manual dexterity needed to perform some job functions
• Computer knowledge
• Positive interpersonal skills, can lead by example and has the ability and willingness to make decisions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must exhibit consistently proper attendance
• Must be able to lift 35lbs

• Environment may be high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperature
• Safety glasses, steel or composite toe boots, and hearing protection required
• Other PPE may be required depending on responsibilities
• Could be exposed to background noise, odors, or dust
