SUMMARY:
The Degree Audit & Curriculum Systems Specialist (Manager 170) provides operational and technical oversight of degree audit, curriculum, and catalog management systems. The position ensures the accuracy and integrity of Degree Works, Curriculog, and Acalog data; supports audit encoding, testing, and quality assurance; and maintains consistency across curriculum, catalog, advising, scheduling, and student planning systems, including the Student Educational Planner (SEP).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Encode, maintain, and update Degree Works audit rules for majors, minors, certificates, and concentrations.
- Execute test plans for audit cycles, system upgrades, and catalog transitions, including regression testing.
- Investigate and resolve audit errors, misalignments, and exception-processing issues.
- Coordinate with Information Technology on system updates, patches, and migrations.
- Review approved curriculum proposals and ensure accurate implementation in Degree Works and Acalog.
- Validate the alignment of catalog content, program structures, and curriculum workflow outputs with degree audit requirements.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance reviews during catalog production cycles.
- Support the maintenance of academic program inventory changes, including new, modified, suspended, and terminated programs.
- Prepare and maintain mappings to support degree audits, reporting, and catalog alignment.
- Validate Student Educational Planner (SEP) templates and term-by-term plans against Degree Works audit requirements.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies among degree audits, program plans, and catalog year requirements.
- Provide training and support to faculty, staff, advisors, and approvers on curriculum, catalog, and degree audit systems.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, user guides and version notes.
- Triage and resolve service requests related to Degree Works, Curriculog, Acalog, and related system integrations.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, enhance data integrity, reduce errors, and support process automation.

Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Minimum:- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with audit systems, process requirements, product offerings structures, and governance rules.
- Ability to conduct detailed testing, error analysis, and quality-assurance activities.
- Experience with Degree Works, scribing, complex exceptions, transfer/articulation rules
- Experience with Acalog, Curriculog, Ellucian Banner and/or related academic systems.
- Experience in higher education, information systems, or related field.
- Experience coordinating catalog production or curriculum workflows.
