Position

Our laboratory is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to investigate how senescent cells shape tissue function in vivo, particularly its interplay with cellular plasticity/reprogramming, immune–stromal interactions, and tissue remodeling, including in physiological contexts such as female reproductive biology and aging. "25-28 rue du Dr. Roux, 75015, Paris"

Host Lab

Our lab addresses a central question in biology:
what is the physiological function of cellular senescence, and how does it transition from a regenerative program to a driver of pathology? We investigate how senescent cells control tissue plasticity and microenvironmental dynamics during regeneration, aging, and cancer, and how these processes can be modulated. Our research is primarily conducted in vivo. We combine genetic mouse models (lineage tracing, conditional perturbations), pharmacological interventions (senolytics and senomorphics), and organoid systems with functional assays, flow cytometry, advanced imaging, and high-dimensional approaches, including single-cell and spatial transcriptomics and epigenomics.

Candidate

profiles We Are Seeking Highly Motivated Candidates With
  • A PhD (or near completion) in immunology, cell/molecular biology, female physiology, aging biology, or related fields.
  • A strong track record of research and publications.
  • Experience with immunology and bioinformatic analysis (e.g., scRNA‑seq) (highly desirable).
  • Skills in in vivo models are an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse, international team.
  • Proficiency in English (working language).
What We Offer
  • A research program linking senescence, tissue repair, tumorigenesis, and aging
  • A collaborative, international, and supportive lab culture.
  • Access to cutting-edge facilities and interdisciplinary collaborations.
  • Mentorship and career development support, including networking and grant‑writing opportunities.

Funding is available to start immediately but candidate will be encouraged and supported to apply for independent competitive grants.
