Principal Scientist

Metric Bio are partnered with an established, well-funded Gene Therapy CDMO as they look to hire a Principle Scientist, Process Development in their Midwest facility.

In this high impact, high visibility role you will:

• Lead upstream process development for viral vector manufacturing, including process characterization, scale-up, technology transfer and GMP technical support.
• Manage and mentor a team of scientists and research associates while influencing technical strategy across multiple client programs.
• Work cross-functionally with Analytical Development, Manufacturing, Engineering and MSAT to deliver high-impact projects.
• Be client-facing, presenting scientific data, leading technical discussions and helping shape program strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of next-generation upstream platforms.
