Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Provide general supervision to ensure retail clerks are meeting or exceeding service and sales standards.
• Promote the courteous treatment of customers and employees including resolving complaints, answering questions and providing general service.
• Facilitate retail sales, including customer assistance and follow-up.
• Encourage and reinforce customer decisions to increase average dollar sale and units per transaction.
• Stock and maintain the appearance of sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions.
• Follow established regulations, guidelines and procedures related to the sale of alcohol and or tobacco.

• Demonstrated money-handling and math skills.
• Demonstrated ability to operate computerized cash register.
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must obtain and maintain a current State Responsible Vendor Permit
• Must obtain and maintain a current Parish Alcohol Beverage Control License
• At least 2-years of related experience
