This role is in support of Cencora's secondary distribution services in the US marketed through our Smart Source business.

• Conduct outbound telesales calls to targeted groups of customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with an assigned group of customer accounts.
• Conduct prospecting calls to recruit customers interested in doing business with the Company.
• Access inventory and order entry platform to assist customers with product needs.
• Participate in daily team huddles and role‑play business scenarios.
• Enter and maintain integrity of data in company CRM software programs.
• Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
• Support the Inside Sales Team and perform related duties as assigned.
• Meet performance standards including call productivity, account coverage, new business development, customer retention, sales growth and collection of competitive data.

• Requires 1‑2 years of experience (could include internship) of selling to customers in a commission‑based environment (not customer service).
• Exposure to fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales and marketing.

  Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM experience.

The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate to noisy.

• Requires sedentary physical activity with reaching, lifting, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking and hearing.
• Visual requirement is for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
• 75% or more time spent looking directly at a computer.
• 75% or more time spent interacting with customers on the telephone.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk or otherwise be mobile.
• Ability to deal with stressful situations as they arise.

This salary range reflects a national average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado, California, Washington, New York, Hawaii, Vermont, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Illinois or state‑specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
