Industrial Account Manager – Southern Indiana

What You’ll Do as an Industrial Account ManagerIn this role, you’ll be responsible for growing and managing a diverse customer base, developing long-term relationships, and driving business development across multiple accounts.
- Hit the ground running by making immediate sales calls in your territory
- Develop expertise in Rockwell Automation products and services
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all organizational levels
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand account packages
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple sales offices to support your accounts
- Navigate complex manufacturing environments to uncover and solve challenges
- Provide solutions that deliver win/win outcomes for customers and Kirby Risk
- Represent Kirby Risk with professionalism in every customer and vendor interaction
- 3–5 years of successful sales experience (industry experience in Electrical Supply is a plus)
- Proven ability to manage accounts and relationships in a competitive territory
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous or contradictory situations
- Ability to follow company processes while applying creativity to solve challenges
- Skilled at building relationships at all organizational levels within manufacturing facilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Known for a positive outlook, professionalism, and continuous learning mindset
- Territory supported by multiple Kirby Risk sales offices
- Travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers (daily, with some overnight as needed)
- Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility for customer or vendor events
